Cut cardstock and watercolor paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4" from Watercolor Paper
- 1" x 4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 2 strips each 1" x 4" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
Mount the large group of roses image from the Birthday Blooms Set on Block E. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad and stamp it in the center of the Watercolor Paper.
Lay the stamped Watercolor Paper on top of the Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers all of the VersaMark stamped image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (smooth and shiny).
Sprinkle some yellow Brusho Crystal Colour in the center of the embossed large rose and some gamboge (orange) around the edges of the large rose and on the small buds. Spritz with water from a spray bottle (an old Stampin' Mist bottle works great) to make the color run. If you want, you can move the water and color around a bit with an Aqua Painter. If you want, use a tissue or paper towel to remove excess water.
Sprinkle some moss green Brusho Crystal Colour around the edges of the embossed image. Spritz with water from a spray bottle to make the color run. If you want, you can move the water and color around a bit with an Aqua Painter. If you want, use a tissue or paper towel to remove excess water.
Set aside to let dry thoroughly. You can speed up drying if you want by using the Heat Tool.
Place the Pear Pizzazz Cardstock inside the Layered Leaves 3D Dynamic Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed Pear Pizzazz layer to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Mount the "thinking of you" sentiment from the Sheltering Tree Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Daffodil Delight strip near the bottom.
Unlock the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. Slide one long side of one of the 1" x 4" strips of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock into the punch so it butts up against the guide at the back of the punch. Punch. Slide the punched cardstock over a little bit and line up the punched area with the silver design printed on the base of the punch. Punch again. Repeat until the entire length has been punched.
Tip: I sometimes find it easier to line things up with this punch if I turn the punch over so I can see the punching area. I then line up the punched areas with the designs of the punch before punching again.
If the Watercolor Paper layer is dry, proceed with the next steps. If not, use the Heat Tool to speed up drying.
Adhere the punched strip to the back of the Watercolor Paper on the bottom long side so that the scallops peek out a bit.
Adhere the other Pumpkin Pie strip to the long top side on the back so about 1/8" of Pumpkin Pie shows along the top.
Adhere the stamped Daffodil Delight strip to the bottom.
Cut a Delicate White Doily in half. Keep one half to be used on a different project. Adhere the other half to back of the matted Watercolor Paper on the top left side. Trim off excess on the left side.
Adhere the matted Watercolor Paper/sentiment/doily piece to the card front so that about 1/8" of Pear Pizzazz shows along the bottom.
Carefully peel up 2 of the tiny circles and 1 large circle from the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes and adhere them randomly to the floral image as dew drops.
