Best Bunny Birthday and Baby Cards |
|
O
ur pastor has a new grandbaby, and my step-mom had a birthday. These cards turned out to be perfect for both!
I also swapped out some sentiments and made a box of note cards for my step-mom for her birthday. Her trademark doodle is a "bunny butt" so when I saw the preview of the annual catalog, this was one of the first sets on my wish list!
If you'e never used the Bunny Builder (or Fox Builder) punch, it's a handy trick to punch some card stock or grid paper.
Then line up the stamps with the punched holes, and pick them up onto an acrylic block or your Stamparatus.
TIP: Save the grid paper in the stamp case for next time!
Once you stamp the main images, you can then set the new stamps onto them to line up the smaller images with the bunny's face and bow tie.
I ended up deciding to leave the tie off in the final card.
How I cut the rest of the card stock:
Standard A2 Card Base in Whisper White (4.25"x5.5")
Soft Sea Foam card front 4"x5.25"
Mint Macron Strip for sentiment - 4"x1.25"
DSP Strip - 4"x1.5"
The soft sea foam layer was embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.
I assembled the bunnies with glue dots, then mounted them to the sentiment strip with dimensionals. I used mini dimensionals on the bunny's ears.
