- card from Balmy Blue Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock

- 1-1/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" of blue bokeh design from Beautiful Bokeh 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
Insert the large white rectangle vertically into the So Swirly Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the long strip of Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper to the left side of the dry embossed white layer so there is about 1/4" of white showing on the left edge and the top and bottom edges are even.
Adhere the white layer with designer paper attached to the front of the Balmy Blue card.
Pick out the die from the Spotlight On Nature Dies that cuts out a circle that is 2-3/4" in diameter and has hash marks all around the outer edge. Put it on top of the white square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.
Put the circle die on top of the Window Sheets square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.
Put the circle die on top of the Balmy Blue square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Pick out the die from the Spotlight On Nature Dies that cuts out a circle that is 2-3/16" in diameter and has hash marks all around the outer edge. Put it on top of the blue square so it is centered inside the larger circle die. Do NOT let the dies overlap. Run through the machine.
Note: You are using the large, open circle cut from the Balmy Blue square for this project. Recycle the center, solid blue circle or save it for use on another project.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the open blue circle frame to the top of the Window Sheets circle cut out.
As you are ready to stamp using the Beautiful Butterflies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the group of splatter dots from the Beautiful Butterflies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the white circle cut out. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Remove a Foam Adhesive Strip from the packaging leaving the protective backing in place. Carefully adhere it to the back of the layered blue open circle/window sheet circle where it is hidden by the blue circle. Cut off excess, but make sure there is NO gap.
Lay the open circle/window sheet circle on your work surface with the foam adhesive strip face up. Put a couple of pinches of Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix inside the foam adhesive circle. Carefully remove the protective backing and adhere the stamped white circle to the back making sure the stamped side will show through the opening in the circle. If needed, use Paper Snips Scissors to trim off any excess white circle along the edges.
Use strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the shaker circle to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the right side of the designer paper strip and is about 1" from the bottom.
Mount the short sentiment of choice from the Beautiful Butterflies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal white strip leaving room to cut it out.
Mount the small, close-winged butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the white strip sideways leaving room to cut it out.
Pick out the matching, open, closed-wing butterfly die and the shorter sentiment label die included in the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put them on top of the stamped image and sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are centered over the image or sentiment. Do NOT let the dies overlap. Run through the machine.
Use a bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the body edge of the butterfly cut out to adhere it to the front of the card as shown on the upper left side of the shaker circle.
Use a bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the sentiment label on what is the left side when it is face up to adhere the sentiment label to the card front as shown so it overlaps the bottom of the shaker circle.
Pick out one of the small, detailed butterfly dies included in the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the small Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use a small bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the butterfly cut out body to adhere it to the upper right corner of the card front at a slight angle as shown.
Put a small dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the center of the designer paper butterfly cut out body.
Use the putty tip of the Take Your Pick to pick out a light purple dot from the Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix. Adhere it to the drop of liquid glue on the butterfly body.
Cut a 16" piece of the Balmy Blue twine included in the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the front of the card as shown so it covers the meeting point between the left side of the sentiment label cut out and the bottom of the shaker circle.
