Beautiful Butterflies Simple Hello

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Basic White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 3-1/2" x 4" of Calypso Coral bokeh design from Beautiful Bokeh 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper

2. Rub a Blending Brush across the open Summer Splash Ink Pad to get it inky. Lightly rub the inky Blending Brush over the center of the horizontal Basic White rectangle. Get more ink on the Blending Brush as needed.

3. Pick out the large, detailed butterfly die; one of the small, detailed butterfly dies; the large butterfly body die; and one of the small butterfly body dies included in the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put them on top of the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove all the pieces.

4. As you are ready to stamp using the Beautiful Butterflies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

5. WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the large and small butterfly cut outs on the blended, horizontal white rectangle to figure out placement.

6. Mount the "hello" sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Summer Splash Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner of the blended, horizontal white rectangle as shown.

7. Adhere the stamped and blended white rectangle to the front of the Basic White Thick card.

8. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the backs of the butterfly cut outs along the centers to adhere them to the front of the card as shown.

9. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the backs of the butterfly body cut outs along the centers to adhere them to the front of the card as shown so they are centered over the butterfly cut outs.

10. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 2 small Summer Splash dots from a sheet of Sunny Day Iridescent Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
