Beautiful Butterflies Red Lattice

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
   - 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of lines of tiny pink birds on lighter pink background design from Everyday Skies 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are vertical on the vertical rectangle
   - 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" from Real Red Cardstock
   - 2-5/8" x 4-1/8" from Adhesive Sheets
   - 2-1/4" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" of lines of tiny pink birds on lighter pink background design from Everyday Skies 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper

2. Adhere the large rectangle of Everyday Skies Designer Paper to the center of the large Real Red rectangle and then to the front of the Petal Pink card.

3. Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the remaining Real Red rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.

4. Pick out the lattice rectangle die from the Linked Together Dies. Put it on top of the Real Red rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Real Red side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.

5. Carefully remove the protective backing from the back of the lattice rectangle cut out. Adhere it to the center of the card front.

6. As you are ready to stamp using the Linked Together Set or Beautiful Butterflies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

7. Mount the "enjoy" sentiment from the Linked Together Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal white rectangle.

8. Mount the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the stamped "enjoy" on the white rectangle so it is centered.

9. Pick out the large oval die from the Linked Together Dies. Put it on top of the sentiment stamped rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.

10. Adhere the sentiment oval to the front of the card as shown so it is centered side to side on the lattice cut out and is about 1-1/2" from the top of the card.

11. Pick out one of the small, detailed butterfly dies included in the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the remaining piece of Everyday Skies Designer Paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.

12. Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the butterfly cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is at a slight angle over the upper left side of the sentiment oval.

13. Cut a 10" piece of the Petal Pink 3/8" Scalloped Ribbon.

14. Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.

15. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon bow to the lower right side of the sentiment oval cut out on the front of the card as shown.

16. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 small and 3 large white sequins from a sheet of Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one of the large sequins to the center of the butterfly cut out. Adhere the remaining sequins to the card front in the upper right and lower left corners as shown.
