Beautiful Butterflies Bright Butterfly Hello

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Petunia Pop Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Shy Shamrock Cardstock
   - 3-1/4" x 4" of pink flowers with green stems closely packed on white background design from Bloom Impressions 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
   - 2" x 2-1/4" from Petunia Pop Cardstock
   - 1-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock

2. Insert the Shy Shamrock rectangle vertically into the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.

3. As you are ready to stamp using the Beautiful Butterflies Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

4. Mount the "hello" sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Shy Shamrock Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the skinny white strip so it is slightly closer to the left side.

5. Pick out the long skinny die with a point on one end and a notch on the other from the Greetings Of The Season Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the notched end is on the left side and is about 1/4" from the left end of the sentiment. Run through the machine.

6. Cut a 7" piece of the Petunia Pop 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.

7. Wrap the ribbon around the right end of the sentiment strip cut out just to the right of the sentiment. Tie in place with a knot. Trim the ends.

8. Adhere the sentiment strip with ribbon wrapped around it to the lower right corner of the vertical dry embossed rectangle as shown. It should be about 1/4" from the bottom. Trim off excess white cardstock sticking out on the right side using Paper Snips Scissors.

9. Adhere the dry embossed Shy Shamrock rectangle with sentiment strip attached to the front of the Petunia Pop card.

10. Pick out the large, detailed butterfly die included in the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the Bloom Impressions Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove all the pieces.

11. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the butterfly cut out along the center to adhere it to the front of the card at an angle as shown.

12. Pick out one of the small, detailed butterfly dies and the large butterfly body die included in the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put them on top of the Petunia Pop rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.

13. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the small butterfly cut out along the center to adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the large butterfly cut out.

14. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the butterfly body cut out along the center to adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the layered butterfly cut outs.

15. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 butterflies from a sheet of Brushed Brass Butterflies making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
