Beautiful Balloons Pink Balloons Birthday |
F un birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bubble Bath Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Berry Burst Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/4" of small pink and light purple dots on white background design from Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 5-1/4" of pink, light purple, and blue confetti on white background design from Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1/2" x 5-1/4" of diagonal pink stripes on white background design from Bright & Beautiful 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Bubble Bath Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 1-3/4" from Azure Afternoon Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Berry Burst Cardstock
Adhere the dotted Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper rectangle to the top of the horizontal 4" x 5-1/4" Berry Burst rectangle so about 1/16" of Berry Burst shows on the left, top, and right sides.
Adhere the confetti Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper rectangle to the bottom of the horizontal 4" x 5-1/4" Berry Burst rectangle so about 1/16" of Berry Burst shows on the left, bottom, and right sides. It should overlap the bottom of the dotted designer paper rectangle.
Adhere the diagonal stripes Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper strip to the center of the layered cardstock/designer paper pieces so it covers the seam between the other two pieces of designer paper. The left and right edges of all designer paper pieces should be even.
Adhere the layered designer paper/cardstock to the front of the Bubble Bath card.
Pick out the confetti-edged tag die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. Put it on top of the Bubble Bath rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove all the little pieces.
As you are ready to stamp using the Beautiful Balloons Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "so thrilled for you," "happy birthday," "yay you!," or "you did it!" sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the tag cut out so the top of the tag is on the left side.
Adhere the stamped tag cut out to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle so the top of the tag is centered over the diagonal stripes designer paper strip near the center of the card and the top right corner is about 1/2" from the right edge of the card.
Mount the large, solid balloon image from the Beautiful Balloons Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Bubble Bath Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the larger white rectangle.
Mount the large, confetti balloon image from the Beautiful Balloons Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped Bubble Bath balloon image. Don't worry if the edges don't line up perfectly.
Pick out the large, solid balloon die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. Put it on top of the stamped balloon image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image as much as possible. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Bubble Bath Stampin' Write Marker to carefully outline the edges of the balloon cut out.
Mount the medium, solid balloon image from the Beautiful Balloons Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the smaller white rectangle.
Pick out the medium, open balloon die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. Put it on top of the stamped balloon image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Pick out the solid tassel die, the small solid balloon dies, and the small star die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies. Put them on top of the Berry Burst rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the balloon cut outs, and tassel cut out on the card front to figure out spacing and placement so the balloons are bunched up as shown over the left end of the sentiment tag cut out.
When happy with the arrangement, adhere the balloons and tassel in place. Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the small balloon cut out and Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the tassel cut out.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the small star cut out to the upper right corner of the card at a slight angle as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small, 1 medium, and 1 large jewel from the sheet of Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown so the large one is in the center of the star cut out, the medium one is on the lower right corner of the sentiment tag cut out, and the small one is at the top of the tassel cut out.
