se masking and sponging to create this beautiful sunny beach scene...and don't hate me if you have snow right now ;-) I'm in FL and it's not beach weather here, either! ;-)
Use a white cardstock rectangle 3.75" x5" to stamp the chair/umbrella image in center of card with the chair "legs" approx 1" from bottom edge of the card. Mask off the "fabric" panels of the chair and umbrella before proceeding to next step, If you don't have masking paper you can buy it on Amazon.com OR make your own using post it notes, just stamp image on sticky note (sticky edge down) and trim closely around the edges so the lines of the image are there but no borders. Make sure the sticky edge survives the trimming or add a bit of repositionable glue to the back. Stamp the image on your cardstock then cover (mask) it with the sticky note. Once you have finished your stamping or sponging just remove the post it...your image will be there safe and sound with the sponging or stamping appearing to be behind the area you masked off and you can proceed.
2.) Once the fabric portions of chair/umbrella images are covered go ahead and stamp the sand for the beach using Crumb Cake ink and the "sand image" from High Tide stamp set. The sand should start at bottom edge of cardstock and cover approx bottom 1/3rd of the card. Fill in the "gap" on the sand image by moving stamp side to side and re-stamping, you can go over it lightly with a sponge and Crumb Cake ink to fill in any empty spots.
3.) After you finish the sand, use the "wave" image from High Tide and Bermuda Bay ink to stamp the waterline, start at the top of the beach "edge" and work across the cardstock from left to right. It's ok if the waves overlap a bit onto the beach...it's what waves do! Stamp at least an inch of waves across the enter card.
4.)Use a sponge lightly inked with Bermuda Bay to fill in the white spaces of the ocean, it's ok to leave some white space as it looks like whitecaps on the water.
5.) Next use the Bermuda Bay sponge to very lightly fill in the sky from the horizon of the water all the way to the top of the white cardstock.
6.) Use the palm fronds image with Shaded Spruce ink to stamp top of the palm on the left side above the water line wherever you want the treetop to be on the left side of the lounge chair and umbrella.
7) Use Early Espresso ink and the long skinny palm trunk to stamp the rest of the palm tree...start stamping at the base of trunk where you want the tree to be rooted in the sand, if your trunk is too short to reach the palm fronds just use the Early Espresso marker to drawn a line extending the trunk to the palm leaves.
8.) Use Tuxedo Black ink and the flying seagulls image to stamp some birds flying in the sky above the palm branches.
9.) Use white scrap to stamp the Beach Happy sentiment using Bermuda Bay ink, punch the words out with oval punch or framelit, Punch or diecut a scalloped oval(slightly larger than the oval used for the sentiment and layer that underneath the Beach Happy sentiment . Use dimensionals to adhere it to the cardfront to pop it up a little or plain adhesive if you want it to be flat.
10. Now remove the masking pieces from the chair upholstery and the beach umbrella, use a Calypso Coral marker to color in the chair canvas and color every other white umbrella panel (I started on the left side then did center panel and right side leaving two of the inside panels plain white.
Adhere the stamped white panel to the Basic Gray panel (slightly larger than the white stamped panel) then adhere that to the folded Going Gray card.
See step 2 photo for the inside of this card.

COMMENTS
On inside of card, stamp desired sentiment at top right corner(I chose Happy Birthday stamped in Calypso Coral) then stamp the beach chair with umbrella again in bottom left corner. No masking needed this time, just color in as desired and you are ready for the beach!
