Autumn Will Be Here Soon: Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set |
|
U sing clear blocks as stamps makes interesting backgrounds. As autumn approaches I used this technique to create this card.
|
Create a card base from Early Espresso cardstock cut at 11 x 4 1/4" and scored at 5 1/2".
To the front of the card base add a piece of So Saffron cardstock cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".
On scraps of white cardstock stamp the backgrounds for the leaves using this process:
1. Pat a clear block onto the stamp pad.
2. Lightly stamp it onto scrap paper.
3. Spritz the inked side of the block with water.
4. Press the block onto white cardstock.
5. Allow the ink to dry.
When dry, die cut the pieces to use as background for the leaves.
I used these ink colors:
--So Saffron
--Old Olive
--Cinnamon Cider
Either stamp the leaves and punch them out (see photo below) or punch leaves from the Gilded Autumn patterned paper.
Attach the leaves to the background pieces.
Use the same inked block technique for the sentiment background.
I used a piece of 1/4" white cardstock and Sahara Sand ink.
Cut to size and stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso ink.
Cut a piece of In Good Taste patterned paper 4" x 5 1/4". Add to the card front.
Attach the die cut pieces and the sentiment piece to the card front using dimensionals.
Add embellishments to the card front. I used these:
--Acorn Trinkets
--2020 - 2022 In Color Enamel Dots.
This card is similar to the one above.
I sponged the background squares and used Gilded Autumn patterned paper.
