Around the Bend Curvy Cuts |
T his card combines the delicate curves of the Around the Bend set with the beautiful flowers in the Regency Park DSP.
Measurements
5 ½” x 8 ½” Night of Navy Cardstock (CS) (scored at 2" & 6 ¼”)
5 ¼” x 4” White CS
5 ½” x 3" White CS
2" x 5 ¼” White CS
2" x 5 ¼” Regency Park Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Cut and Score all pieces. Burnish well on score lines.
Make the curvy cuts.
* On the card base, you will use the side with the 2" score mark. Use the largest die with the decorative holes as well as the curvy side. (Note: the solid side of the die should be at the end of paper.)
* Lay the white CS under the card base and align the flowered edge die where you'd like it. Be sure the curves are symmetrical. Make the cut.
Front of the Card
* Adhere the white CS to the underside of the top flap. You want the white to show through the holes and have a pleasant edge below the flap.
* Attach the DSP to the bottom flap.
Inside the Card
* Attach white CS to the inside of the card.
* Stamp desired sentiments and decorations.
Decorate
* Use embellishments, ribbon, die cuts, and gems to decorate as desired.
* I added the Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon under the sentiment tag.
* My flower die cuts came from the Quiet Meadow Set because I do not yet have the Petal Park Bundle.
