Around the Bend Card 1 |
|
I used Around the Bend for this card, and made it all in white. I think this would be nice for a wedding card. You could add colour with a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber, or cut any of the flowers or leaves in coloured cardstock.
Cut the following layers:
• Basic White Thick Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
• Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"; 4" x 4"
• Vellum Cardstock: 2-1/2" x 6"
Rub Vellum Cardstock with an Embossing Buddy. Stamp scalloped edge close to long edge of vellum cardstock with Versamark ink pad. Add white embossing powder, set with heat tool. Die cut with corresponding die.
Die cut right edge of 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White layer at an angle as shown in photo. Line up as desired with vellum layer, tracing the edge of the Basic White layer onto the back of the vellum, and cut. Adhere layers with thin strip of liquid glue. Trim vellum at top and bottom as needed.
Stamp sentiment in Smoky Slate near edge of 4" x 4" Basic White layer, trim to 1/2" wide, and banner both ends. Adhere sentiment to card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Die cut all flowers, hearts, and three leaves from remaining Basic White layer. Adhere flowers and leaves to card front with mini glue dots and Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add card front to card base with Stampin' Dimensionals, leaving a 1/8" margin at top, bottom, and left edges.
Adhere hearts to right edge of Thick Basic White layer with mini glue dots.
