Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 5-1/8" of blue flowers, yellow buds, and green leaves on white background design from Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper
- 1/2 doily from Delicate White Doilies
- 2 pieces each 2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
Make sure you have some Grid Paper on your work surface to protect it from ink. Place the two white squares on the Grid Paper.
Mount the flower and leaves image from the Amazing You Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp once onto Grid Paper. Then, without re-inking, stamp it on one of the Whisper White squares so you get the flower portion on the square. Set aside to let dry thoroughly. Repeat with the other white square, remembering to stamp off once on Grid Paper before stamping on the white square. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block to use again later.
If you haven't already done so, cut a Delicate White Doily in half. Place one half on the Grid Paper and put the other half away to use on a future project.
Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters so you have more sponges to work with. Rub the rounded side of the sponge quarter across the open Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, rub it onto the doily half. Get more ink on the sponge as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want.
Tip: I just clean my sponges when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Cut a 6" piece of Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon.
Place the piece of ribbon on your Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker to color one side of the ribbon. Set the ribbon aside to let it dry.
Mount the word "celebrate" from the Amazing You Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the white rectangle as close to the right and bottom edge as possible.
Make sure the flower and leaf image on Block D is clean. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle so that the leaves are poking out to the right and are about 1/2" above the word "celebrate."
Adhere the colored doily half to the stamped white rectangle so the curve of the doily half is on the right and is just above and to the left of the stamped leaves. It may overlap the stamped flower a bit, that is fine. The top of the doily half should be about 1/2" from the top of the white rectangle.
Adhere the strip of Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper to the left side of the stamped white rectangle so that it covers the left, flat side of the doily half.
Lay the piece of colored ribbon across the stamped white rectangle/designer paper so it is just along the right edge of the designer paper. Flip the rectangle over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the Pear Pizzazz rectangle. Then, adhere that to the front of the Pool Party card.
Place the stamped flowers on the Grid Paper and start coloring with the Pool Party Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the Light Pool Party Marker first and add highlights with the Dark Pool Party Marker. Blend the colors by going over everything again with the Light Pool Party Marker.
Cut out the flowers by hand using Paper Snips.
If desired, use the side of the brush tip of the Light Pool Party Stampin' Blends Marker to go around the cut edges of the flowers to hide any white areas.
Adhere one colored flower using SNAIL so that it lays over the stamped Tranquil Tide flower on the white layer of the card.
Carefully remove a large faceted gem from a sheet of Gold Faceted Gems making sure you get the adhesive as well as the gem. Adhere it to the center of the flower on the card front.
Adhere a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the other flower. Remove the protective backings and adhere the flower to the front of the card so it overlaps the ribbon and right side of the designer paper strip and the lower left side of the other flower.
Carefully remove a large faceted gem from a sheet of Gold Faceted Gems making sure you get the adhesive as well as the gem. Adhere it to the center of the popped up flower on the card front.
