P retty thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Highland Heather Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of watercolor wash pink design from Sweet Talk 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 5-1/4" of purple stripes design from Sweet Talk 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" of watercolor wash pink design from Sweet Talk 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Blushing Bride Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 3-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Put the large pink piece of Sweet Talk Designer Paper into the Gingham Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the piece of purple striped Sweet Talk Designer Paper to the bottom of the dry embossed horizontal pink piece of designer paper.
Cut a 5-3/4" piece of the Highland Heather 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the designer paper rectangle so the ribbon is centered over the seam between the two pieces of paper. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back of the rectangle using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Highland Heather card.
Mount the butterfly image from the Amazing Silhouettes Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining small rectangle of pink Sweet Talk Designer Paper.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the butterfly image by hand.
Adhere the cut out butterfly image to the front of the card so it overlaps the right edge of the ribbon on the card front as shown.
Pick out the more solid "thanks" word die from the Amazing Thanks Dies. Put it on top of the Blushing Bride rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Highland Heather rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the more detailed "thanks" word die from the Amazing Thanks Dies. Put it on top of the Highland Heather rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Highland Heather (purple) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the detailed "thanks" word cut out. Adhere it to the center of the more solid "thanks" word cut out.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the layered "thanks" word cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the left side of the butterfly image and overlaps the left side of the butterfly image as shown.
Cut a 4" piece of the Highland Heather 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle so it is centered over the ribbon already on the card front near the bottom right side of the cut out butterfly image.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 pink and 2 purple pearls from a sheet of Pastel Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of three squares formed by the gingham embossing folder in the upper left corner of the card as shown.
