Amazing Silhouettes Bright Butterfly Thanks |
A bright, cheery thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pacific Point Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Pacific Point Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 3-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Mount the butterfly image from the Amazing Silhouettes Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the vertical white rectangle so the left edge of the image just goes off the left edge of the cardstock and the top of the image is about 1-1/4" from the top of the cardstock. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the butterfly image on Block D with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the vertical white rectangle so the left edge of the image just goes off the left edge of the cardstock and the top edge of the image just overlaps the bottom of the previously stamped yellow image a tiny amount. Re-ink the stamp again with the Pacific Point Ink Pad and stamp it on the left side of the rectangle so the left edge of image just goes off the left edge of the cardstock and the bottom edge of the image just overlaps the top of the previously stamped yellow image a tiny amount.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the large Pacific Point rectangle and then to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Pick out the more solid "thanks" word die from the Amazing Thanks Dies. Put it on top of the remaining, smaller Pacific Point rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the Daffodil Delight rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the more detailed "thanks" word die from the Amazing Thanks Dies. Put it on top of the Daffodil Delight rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Daffodil Delight (yellow) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the detailed "thanks" word cut out. Adhere it to the center of the more solid "thanks" word cut out.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the layered "thanks" word cut out to the front of the card near the bottom right side. The left edge of the word cut out should overlap the bottom right side of the bottom butterfly image just a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a Crushed Curry dot from a sheet of Playing With Patterns Resin Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the upper right corner of the card front.
