Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 4-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" Whisper White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Amazing Life Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Place the white cardstock on some Grid Paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat so that the 4" sides are vertical and the 4-1/4" sides are horizontal.
Mount the long, skinny, loopy border image from the Amazing Life Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the bottom of the white rectangle.
Mount the four-leaf clover image from the Amazing Life Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly down the right side of the white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the orientation of the stamp every time and let some of the images go off the right and top edges. Clean the stamp with the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the clover stamp with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly down the right side of the white rectangle filling in the spaces between the lighter green clovers. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Rotate the orientation of the stamp every time and let some of the images go off the right and top edges. Clean the stamp with the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and put it away.
Mount the "good luck" sentiment from the Amazing Life Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white strip on one end.
Unlock the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Squeeze the lid of the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad to get a pool of ink in the lid. Open the pad but leave the lid exposed. Pick up some ink from the lid using the Blender Pen. Color in the lighter colored clovers on the white rectangle. Get more ink on the Blender Pen as needed.
Pick up more ink from the lid of the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad using the Blender Pen. Color in the inside of the letters in the word "luck" on the punched out sentiment circle. Get more ink on the Blender Pen as needed.
Tip: Stroke the Blender Pen in one direction only. If you go back and forth, then the cardstock could start to pill and tear. Scribble on Grid Paper to clean the tip of the Blender Pen until no more color is coming off.
Squeeze the lid of the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad to get a pool of ink in the lid. Open the pad but leave the lid exposed. Pick up some ink from the lid using the Blender Pen. Color in the darker colored clovers on the white rectangle. Get more ink on the Blender Pen as needed.
Tip: Stroke the Blender Pen in one direction only. If you go back and forth, then the cardstock could start to pill and tear. Scribble on Grid Paper to clean the tip of the Blender Pen until no more color is coming off.
Unlock the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. Slide one long side of the Shaded Spruce strip into the punch so it butts up against the guide at the back of the punch. Punch. Slide the punched cardstock over a little bit and line up the punched area with the silver design printed on the base of the punch. Punch again. Repeat until the entire length has been punched.
Tip: I sometimes find it easier to line things up with this punch if I turn the punch over so I can see the punching area. I then line up the punched areas with the designs of the punch before punching again.
Adhere the punched Shaded Spruce strip to the bottom of the stamped white rectangle (along a 4-1/4" edge) so that a bit of the decorative edge peeks out from behind the white cardstock. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess Shaded Spruce Cardstock as needed.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle with the punched border attached to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card so the top is about 1/2" from the top of the card.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the punched out and colored sentiment circle to the left side of the card front about 1/4" from the left edge and about 3/4" up from the bottom of the stamped white layer.
Cut an 8" piece of Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the lower right side of the sentiment circle at a slight angle.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up gold pearls from a sheet of Metallic Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the clovers.
