Adorable Owls Tree Nook |

Prepare these pieces:
Early Espresso base - 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
Mossy Meadow - 3-5/8" x 4-7/8"
Crumb Cake - 3-1/2" x 4-3/4", embossed with Timber 3D embossing folder
Crumb Cake tree ring, embossed and cut with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder
Early Espresso scrap for behind tree ring
White scraps for stamping
White inside - 4" x 5-1/4"
Mossy Meadow - leaves from Bough punch
Fold and burnish card base. Glue Crumb Cake layer to Mossy Meadow. Tie 12" of Crumb Cake twine around the layer and tie a bow on the left side. Glue to front of card.
Add Early Espresso scrap behind the tree ring and trim around the edges if it shows from the front. Leave a little gap where you don't glue on lower left so you can tuck in your owl later. Add to card front with dimensionals.
Stamp owl in Memento and color with Stampin' Blends. I used light and dark Crumb Cake, light Fresh Freesia (eyes), light Petal Pink (ears) and dark Daffodil Delight (beak). Fussy cut out, add one dimensional to the head and tuck into your tree nook so it looks like it is emerging.
Stamp sentiment on white with Fresh Freesia ink. Punch out with Double Oval punch. Add with dimensionals over the twine. Add a few boughs in Mossy Meadow using glue dots. Finish off the front with Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.
No naked insides and envelopes! Add a bough to the white inside panel and glue inside. Stamp an owl on the envelope.
