Double Z Fun Fold Card (Chrstmas)

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Measurements
   CS 4 ¼” x 11” Real Red (Scored at 2 ¾” & 5 ½”)
   3” x 9” Real Red (Scored at 3” & 6”)
   2 ½” x 2 ½” Old Olive (Cut 3)
   2 ¼” x 2 ¼” Basic White (Cut 3)
   DSP 2 ½” x 4” (Cut 2)
   4” x 5 ¼”

   Cut and Score all pieces. Burnish well on score lines.

2. Attach the Santa Express Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the card base as demonstrated in the photo.

   Stamp sentiments on the white squares and decorate as desired.

   Adhere the stamped white CS squares to the Old Olive mats, then adhere to Real Red CS as demonstrated in the photo.

3. Lay the large Real Red card base flat. Collapse the smaller Real Red card to form a “Z” and center it on the back of the card base. Adhere with glue so you can shift it a little, if it is off a bit.

4. Fold back the front of the card base and adhere the front of the “Z” using glue. Note: be certain you only apply glue where the two pieces will meet.

5. You now have formed two “Z”s as demonstrated in the attached photo.

6. Stamp the couple from the Friends and Family stamp set onto white cardstock, color, and fussy cut them out using the Stampin' UP! paper snips. Then adhere to the front of the card.

   Embellish as desired.

   I love the traditional Christmas colors, but I thought it would be fun to recreate this card using non-traditional colors. I chose to use the Abstract Beauty DSP (retired) and Magenta Madness CS. I believe the result is fun and still embodies the spirit of the season. Go crazy and let your creativity shine!
