Perennial Essence Class - Silver Foiled Card |
|
A quick and easy card using a Foil-Edged Card and Envelope for extra WOW factor.
Cut a piece of So Saffron Vellum to measure 5" x 3.75" and attach it to the front of a Silver Foil-Edged Card using SNAIL.
Cut a piece of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to measure 4.5" x 3.25" and layer this on top of the vellum using SNAIL to attach it.
On a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, stamp out the following using the Floral Essence Stamp Set:-
1 large flower using the Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry Inks
2 small flowers using the Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron Inks
3 leaf sprigs using the Old Olive Ink
1 'Wishing you a blissful future' sentiment stamp using the Rich Razzleberry Ink. Make sure you leave enough white space around the sentiment for punching it out as a label.
Using a pair of Paper Snips 'fussy cut' around the three flowers leaving a small white border. Use the Leaf Punch to cut out the three leaf sprigs and the Story Label Punch to cut out the sentiment.
Arrange the stamped images as shown - you will need to snip off the middle leaf on the two right hand sprigs and glue those separately behind the flower and label.
Use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the leaves and large flower and Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the label. For the two small flowers, use liquid glue to attach the petals to the label, and dimensionals to attach the lower petals to the base card.
Use the small flower stamp with Flirty Flamingo Ink and stamp in the lower right corner of the inside of the card as shown, with a So Saffron centre.
Stamp the flower onto a sticky note so that part of it is over the sticky section. 'Fussy cut' this out just inside the outer lines to make a mask. Attach this over the flower image then stamp the Rich Razzleberry/Crushed Curry flower overlapping as shown.
Leaving the mask in place, stamp the right hand leaf sprig in Old Olive, move the mask to the Rich Razzleberry image and then stamp the left hand leaf sprig as shown.
Remove the mask - your card is now finished. Sit back and admire your handiwork.
