Piece of Cake in Coastal Cabana

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cutting:
   8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Coastal Cabana, scored at 4 1/4
   1 3/4 x 5 1/4 Gorgeous Grape
   1 1/2 x 5 Designer Series Paper
   5 x 3 3/4 Whisper White
   3 1/2 x 5 1/2 for circle and punches

2. Preparation:
   Emboss the card base using the Dot to Dot TIEF.
   Cut out the Stitched Circle.
   Stamp the cake and base using the punch as a guide for alignment in Memento Tuxedo Black.
   Stamp the saying in Memento Tuxedo Black.
   Stamp the candles in Memento Tuxedo Black directly on the stitched circle die cut.
   On the inside Whisper White Panel; stamp the saying "Hope this year is a piece of cake" followed by "Happy Birthday".
   On the Whisper White Medium Envelope, stamp the candles in the lower left corner.

3. Coloring & Punching:
   Color the candles with Coastal Cabana Stampin Marker.
   Color the flames with Dark Pineapple Punch Blendable.
   Using either blends or markers color the cake with Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather, and Melon Mambo for the stripes; Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo for the base; and Pineapple Punch for the layer bottoms.
   Using the Dark and Light Smoky Slate Blends color the cake base.
   Color the candles on the envelope.
   Punch out the cake and base and the saying.
   Punch the tag base from a scrap of Gorgeous Grape.

4. Assembly:
   Adhere the DSP to the Grape strip and then adhere both to the card base.
   Attach the cake and base to the circle in alignment with the stamped candles using dimensionals.
   Adhere the circle with dimensionals to the card base.
   Slightly bend the Grape tag base and then attach the tag saying. Using dimensionals add the layered tag to the card base.
   Adhere the inside layer to the inside of the card base.
