2018 Feather + Frost Holiday Card 3 - #avidcrafter

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut List:
   • Whisper White 5 ½” x 8 ½” score at 4 ¼”, 4” x 5 ¼” for inside sentiment, 4 ¼” x 5 ½” for leaves and berries and sentiments
   • Real Red 4 1/8” x 5-3/8", 3 ¼” square, ½” x 3” strip
   • Pool Party 4"x 5 ¼”

2. Stamp:
   Pool Party Ink
   • Stamp square leaves and berries in the top left of the 4 ¼” x 5 ½” piece of Whisper White
   Real Red Ink
   • Stamp “Joy” sentiment below the leaves and berries, leaving room to be punched out
   • Stamp the right facing bird next to “Joy” leaving room to fussy cut
   • Stamp “to the world” sentiment at the bottom of the leaves and berries sheet leaving room to trim into 1 ½” x 3” strip
   • Stamp “and Peace to your heart” sentiment on 4” x 5 ¼” of Whisper White (Useful Tip: you can add an "s" to the end with from the Make a Difference stamp set.)
   • Stamp Poinsettia in the bottom left corner of the inside sentiment.

3. Color:
   • Using Stampin’ Blends, color berries, bird, and poinsettia. (Useful Tip: Shading can be created by adding multiple layers of the same color blender.)

4. Punch + Fussy Cut:
   • Punch “Joy” sentiment with 1 ¼” Circle punch
   • Punch Silver Foil with 1-3/8” Scallop Circle punch
   • Punch or fussy cut “to the world” sentiment with Triple Banner punch.
   • Punch or fussy cut Real Red strip with Triple Banner punch.
   • Fussy cut bird, removing his legs.(Useful Tip: a white gel pen can cover up and remaining pieces of the legs.)

5. Attach Layers:
   • Attach leaves and berries to Real Red square.
   • Attach “Joy” sentiment to Silver Foil scallop circle and pop-up with dimensional in center of leaves and berries.
   • Pop-up red bird with dimensionals in the bottom left corner of leaves and berries.
   • Attach leaves and berries layer in the top right corner of the Pool Party Tin Tile layer with Tear and Tape.
   • Attach Pool Party layer to Real Red layer with SNAIL or liquid glue and attach to card base.
   • Attach Real Red strip behind “to the world” sentiment and pop-up with dimensionals to Pool Party layer slightly overlapping the leaves and berries layer (see photo).
   • Attach inside sentiment.

6. Finish:
   • Don't forget to add your personal touch to the back of the card.
   • Now, sit back with a cup of coffee, or your favorite beverage, and enjoy your creation!
