Shadow Box Project |
|
H appy Stamping Sunday. Can you believe that it already April? Where does time go? This month's get together at the Citizen's Center is on the 21st from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Be sure to RSVP on my website at www.1phatchic.stampinup.net so we have enough supplies if you are attending the class portion. I have a few members that have lost their mom's so this Mother's Day will be a little delicate. Keeping those ladies in mind I designed a shadowbox project that will be a great gift for anyone or just to preserve that special moment for themselves.

Run all your pieces through the big shot cut two extra large jars out of shimmer white and then cut an additional two pieces out of a sandwich bag.
Using Soft Sky and a sponge or sponge dauber fill the jars with water.
To build the Large Jar:
Adhere the Sandwich bag to the outside stamped piece on the back side.
Using Foam strip on back of top piece on bottom and sides only. You want the top open to place your flowers.
Adhere the glimmer hearts to the small jar.
Using dimensional pop up the lid onto the medium jar.
Adhere all your pieces to the base and add a little wink of stella to the jar and the flowers if desired.
Place in your shadow frame for the perfect gift.
An Alternative idea would be to make a double page layout.
Repeat all the steps for a second page.
Hint: Before you adhere everything down play around with the layout. the possibilities are endless.
