Project Recipe
Cut a card base from Sahara Sand to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, scored at 2-1/8 on each end, and 4-1/4.
Run the card base front flaps through the Cut & Emboss machine with the Tasteful Textile 3-D embossing folder.
Fold on each score line and burnish with a bone folder.
Cut two pieces of He's The Man DSP at 5-1/4 x 1-7/8. These can be the same pattern, or different patterns. I used a retired DSP for the right flap. Use Tombow liquid glue to attach the left panel to the card front. Set aside.
Cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock to 5-1/4 x 1-7/8 for the inside of the card. I attached coordinating DSP scraps cut at 1/8 x 1-7/8 and adhered near the bottom of these pieces. Set aside.
Cut your front focal panel in Basic White at 2 x 3-1/2. Stamp your greeting centered near the top, leaving room for your Die Cut Car. Adhere your die cut.
Cut front focal image mat from Early Espresso Cardstock to 2-1/4 x 3-3/4. Adhere your stamped image to this mat. Close both flaps of the card base, and use adhesive to only the left side of the mat and center to the card front.
Place two magnets together with glue dots on the outsides. Leaving them attached to each other, (this ensures that they are facing the correct direction, and will attach to each other instead of repel each other), adhere one to the back of the Early Espresso mat about 1/4 " from the right edge centering from top to bottom. Press the remaining magnet into the right flap to adhere it to the embossed cardstock. You may now adhere the right side of the DSP with liquid glue.
Cut a piece of Basic White to about 1-3/4 x 2-1/2 and stamp the inside greeting from the He's All That stamp set, in Early Espresso ink. Punch out with the Everyday Label Punch.
Cut an Early Espresso mat for the inside focal image to 2 x 3. Use the Very Best Trio punch to punch the top right edge with the decorative corner. You must now flip over the Early Espresso cardstock and repeat on the opposite side. If you do not flip the cardstock, you will be left with a non symmetrical edge. Repeat these steps on the bottom edge of the mat. Center the focal image on the mat and adhere together. Set aside.
Cut a strip of Sahara Sand cardstock to 3/4 x 5-1/2 and score at 5/8 on each end to make the bendy piece. Fold on the score lines and burnish with the bone folder. Use a strong adhesive on both folded ends, and adhere to the inside of the card in the middle portion. I placed mine just above the center mark.
Place liquid glue on one of the inside Basic White pieces, and carefully slip under the bendy piece so you can adhere it to the back on either side, leaving equal borders on all four sides. Repeat with the other inside piece.
Cut a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock to 1/2 x 3 and score @ 1/2, 1,2, 2-1/2 to make the Wobble. Fold and burnish with the ends facing down, Adhere to the middle of the bendy piece. Add adhesive to the front of the Wobble and adhere your matted inside focal image.
Attach a piece of Adhesive sheet to the back of a scrap of Early Espresso cardstock and die cut the argyle shaped die, using the All That die cuts. Repeat this step for the envelope with Sahara Sand cardstock. Peel the backings off and place on the envelope and card front. Embellish as desired.
