I tried the Polished Stone Technique using Stampin' Up! reinkers, glossy paper, rubbing alcohol and cotton balls.
Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Sahara Sand 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at half
Early Espresso 4 x 5 1/4
Glossy White 5 x 3 3/4
Very Vanilla 2 1/2 x 1 1/4, and 5 1/4 x 4
Copper Foil 2 3/4 x 1 1/2
Extra Supplies:
Cotton Balls
Rubbing Alcohol
Apply one color at a time.
Add 4-5 drops of a reinker to a cotton ball. Add some rubbing alcohol until the cotton ball is pretty wet.
Start sponging/rubbing on the glossy paper. Repeat with another color(s) and combine until you get the texture you like.
Let dry.
With the Versamark, stamp the greeting on the small piece of Very Vanilla. Sprinkle with the Copper Embossing Powder and heat with the heat tool. Adhere to the Copper Foil paper and set aside.
Stamp the two different sizes of leaves on the left side. I used Early Espresso.
Adhere the painted Glossy White to the Early Espresso. Wrap the Reversible Ribbon around and adhere.
Adhere to the card base.
Add the sentiment with the Mini Dimensionals. With the Glue Dot, add the Leaf Trinket.
Add the remaining piece of Very Vanilla on the card inside.
