Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Gray Granite Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of stacked granite wall design from In Good Taste 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the design is horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 2" x 2-1/4" from Just Jade Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" from Gray Granite Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3/4" x 1" from Just Jade Cardstock
- 1/2" x 3-1/2" from Just Jade Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Plentiful Plants Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the curving bunch of round leaf vines image on Block C. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the lower left corner of the horizontal In Good Taste Designer Paper rectangle so the left side of the leaves almost touch the left side of the designer paper and the leaves are hanging down. The bottom of the leaves should be about 3/4" from the bottom of the paper. Re-ink the stamp with Garden Green Ink and stamp it again about 1/2" to the right. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the image again in between and slightly lower than the first two images.
Unlock the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Just Jade strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the flatter top) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the "To a dear friend," "Love you," or "You touched my heart" sentiment from the Plentiful Plants Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the punched strip so the punched end is on the left and the left end of the sentiment is close to the left edge.
Adhere the stamped sentiment strip to the upper right corner of the stamped designer paper. Leave about 1/2" of blank strip between the right end of the sentiment and the right edge of the designer paper. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock on the right side.
Adhere the stamped and layered designer paper rectangle to the front of the Gray Granite card.
Mount the flower pot with handles image from the Plentiful Plants Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Gray Granite Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Gray Granite rectangle.
Pick out the flower pot with handles die from the Perfect Plants Dies. Put it on top of the stamped flower pot image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the flower pot image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Mount the large, three-leaved plant image from the Plentiful Plants Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Just Jade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2" x 2-1/4" Just Jade rectangle.
Pick out the matching, three-leaved plant die from the Perfect Plants Dies. Put it on top of the stamped plant leaves image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the plant leaves image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Mount the spiky plant image from the Plentiful Plants Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Garden Green rectangle.
Pick out the matching, spiky plant die from the Perfect Plants Dies. Put it on top of the stamped spiky plant image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the spiky plant image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Pick out the solid, small, flat-bottomed, ridged flower pot die from the Perfect Plants Dies. Put it on top of the 3/4" x 1" Just Jade rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the plant and flower pot images on the lower left side of the card front to figure out spacing and placement. When happy with the arrangement, adhere the pieces in place one at a time using Stampin' Seal and/or Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Let the cut outs overlap a bit and make sure the bottoms of the plant cut outs are tucked behind the tops of the flower pot cut outs.
Cut a 3" piece of the Gray Granite 1/4" Shimmer Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot across the sentiment strip in the blank area between the end of the sentiment and the edge of the designer paper.
