I love the paper choices in the Plaid Tidings paper pack. I was so glad to see the Moose return in the August - December mini catalog. What a fun combination, a plaid and a moose.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Cherry Cobbler 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Very Vanilla paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Plaid Tidings is 6 X 6 paper. If you want to get the most from this paper. First cut your envelope flap 2 ¼ X 6. From the piece that is left cut paper 3 ¾ X 5. See cutting diagram.
Attach plaid card front to vanilla mat. Attach these to card front.
Die cut largest Stitched Shape square from Very Vanilla. Cut a mat for square from Cherry Cobbler 2 ¾ X 2 ¾, Stamp sentiment with Cherry Cobbler ink at center bottom of Very Vanilla Square.
Attach stamped vanilla square to cherry cobbler mat.
Stamp moose with Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake paper. Punch out with Moose punch. Attach moose above stamped sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
