Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Dapper Denim Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pool Party Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Dapper Denim Cardstock
- 1" x 4-1/2" from Always Artichoke Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock using the Picnic with You Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Everyday with you is a picnic" sentiment from the Picnic with You Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Dapper Denim Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the Pool Party rectangle.
Place the Dapper Denim rectangle into the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder so the lines runs horizontally across the rectangle. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Make sure the embossing folder does NOT hang out over the edges of the platform or it will catch the edges of the Big Shot as you crank it through which could damage your folder and Big Shot. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Open the embossing folder and turn the cardstock 90 degrees so that the lines are now running vertically across the cardstock. Close the folder and place it on the Big Shot as before and crank it through. You should have a grid pattern dry embossed on your cardstock now.
Adhere the dry embossed Dapper Denim rectangle to the stamped Pool Party layer on the right side at an angle. The upper left corner should be about 1-3/4" in from the left side and the top edge should be about 1-1/2" down from the top of the Pool Party edge. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock on the bottom and right sides.
Pick out the long strip of grass framelit from the Picnic Basket Builder Framelits. Place the strip of Always Artichoke Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the long strip of grass framelit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the strip of grass to the bottom of the Pool Party layer so it overlaps the Dapper Denim on the left side by about 1/2" inch. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock on the bottom and left sides.
Adhere the Pool Party layer to the front of the Dapper Denim card.
Mount the basket image from the Picnic with You Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the larger Crumb Cake rectangle.
Pick out the matching basket outline framelit from the Picnic Basket Builder Framelits. Place the stamped basket image on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the basket outline framelit on top so it is centered over the image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Put SNAIL on the back of the basket cut out near the middle and bottom and adhere the basket cut out to the card front so the right top corner of the basket is just a hair below the right top edge of the Dapper Denim "blanket" and about 3/4" in from the edge.
Tip: Don't get adhesive too close to the top edge of the basket so that you can tuck the basket contents easily underneath the edge in later steps.
Mount the basket handle image on Block G. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it on one long side of the smaller Crumb Cake rectangle. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the other side of the rectangle. Be sure to leave room between the handles so you can put the framelits on top to cut them out without having the framelits overlap.
Pick out both of the matching basket handle outline framelits from the Picnic Basket Builder Framelits. Place the stamped handle images on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the basket handle outline framelits on top so they are centered over the images. Make sure the framelits do NOT overlap. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the handle cut outs to either side of the basket top so they are pointing down at angles. Make sure that the rivet hole is at the top on each handle.
Carefully remove 2 small gold or silver circles from a sheet of Metallic Enamel Shapes making sure you get the adhesive as well as the enamel shapes. Adhere them over the rivet holes on the basket handles.
Mount the bread image on Block G. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it on one side of one end of the long vanilla strip.
Mount the wine bottle image on Block G. Ink it up with the Always Artichoke Ink Pad. Stamp it below the bread image on one end of the long vanilla strip. Be sure to leave space to place the framelits on top of the images without having the framelits overlap.
Mount the solid cheese wedge image on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp once onto Grid Paper. Without re-inking, stamp it again in the middle of the long vanilla strip near the top edge.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Mount the outline detailed cheese wedge image on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped cheese wedge.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Mount the bowl of cherries image on Block A. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it below the cheese image in the center of the long vanilla strip. Be sure to leave space to place the framelits on top of the images without having the framelits overlap.
Mount the wine glass image on Block A. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it near the top on one end of the long vanilla strip. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again below the first wine glass image on the end of the vanilla strip. Be sure to leave space to place the framelits on top of the images without having the framelits overlap.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Pick out the matching bread, wine bottle, cheese wedge, bowl of cherries, and both wine glass framelits from the Picnic Basket Builder Framelits. Place the stamped vanilla strip on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the framelits on top of each matching image so they are centered over the images. Make sure the framelits do NOT overlap. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove pieces as needed.
Use the fine tip of the Cherry Cobbler Marker to color in the cherries in the bowl.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the bowl of cherries cut out to the lower right side of the picnic basket on the card front.
Use the brush tip of the Soft Sky Marker to color all over the wine glass cut outs.
Use the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to color the inside of the wine glass images and make them sparkle.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the bread, cheese wedge, wine glasses, and wine bottle so they appear to be poking out of the top of the basket.
