T
his Scrapbook Page features the Pick A Pumpkin Bundle to highlight a trip to the Pumpkin Patch.
Scrapbooking is about preserving memories and printing your photos.
Project Recipe
This scrapbook page is inspired by a Page Map (or Sketch) that I created for the Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop.
Select your background. I'm using 12 x 12 Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then I used a strip of Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper placed just slightly above the center line of the 12 x 12 Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Choose your photo!
I've selected a photo of my son picking out and showing me a Pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch. Then decide whether or not you want to matte your photo. I personally always prefer to matte my photos to help them "pop" and stand out from the background.
I also added a Soft Sky tag which is punched using the Ticket Tear border. Then I did handwrite the date we were at the Pumpkin Patch.
This is the step where I start "laying" out my elements. I knew I was using the Pick A Pumpkin Bundle. I stamped a bunch of pumpkins and leaves then die cut them. Once they were die cut, I started to loosely place them on the page. The title was die cut using the Large Letters Framelits with Cajun Craze cardstock and also placed on the page to make certain they would fit.
Once I had my general placement of the title and elements. I did my journaling on my computer, printed on regular printing paper then also placed them and tweaked my journaling until it fit on the page.
Now, I started to attach. First, I attached the photo to the page. Then, I attached my journaling which was now printed on Very Vanilla Cardstock and cut into strips.
Attach the title. Now that I had the exact placement of my photo and journaling, it was time to add the title. I used dimensionals to adhere the title. Once the "Pumpkin" was in place, I stamped the "patch" using the Labeler Alphabet Stamp Set with Tangerine Tango then fussy cut the "patch" and attached it over the "Pumpkin."
Now that the main elements are attached, it is time to add the "embellishments." The pumpkins and leaves are my scrapbook embellishments that help tell the story. The main pumpkin embellishments in the bottom center also have Gold Metallic thread added behind the pumpkins
Finally, I added black Rhinestone Jewels for that finishing touch.
