T his is the last project for my May Club. It's a wonderful little Father's day card that hold pictures. The weight of the card allows it to remain open for the receiver to enjoy the pictures for years to come.
Project Recipe
Cut a Very Vanilla Piece of cardstock 4 1/4" x 11". Score at 3 5/8" and 7 3/8" .Night of Navy 4" x 3 1/2". Water color paper 3 1/4" x 3 3/4". Cut 5 pieces of Night of Navy 3 1/4" x 4. Cut 1 piece of Very Vanilla 3"x 3 3/4 " .
When water coloring the piece paint as follows.
1. Sahara Sand 1/3 of he way up from the bottom.
2. Lost Lagoon the next 1/3rd from where the Sahara Sand leaves off making sure to blend the lines.
3. Star the Night of Navy at the top and work down blending through the Lost Lagoon to blur the line.
4. Sprinkle Kosher Salt on SS and NN pieces and set to the side to dry.
5. When dry flick off salt with finger nail and then apply wink of stella clear.
Punch out a Night of Navy piece using the 2 3/8" Scallop. Stamp The love Between us knows no distance twice. Cut 1st saying out with 2" punch. then cut just the love out and pop up on saying and adhere to the blue scallop. Adhere all front layers together.
I printed my pictures as 4" x 4" and trimmed down to 2 3/4" x 3". Then stamp the Very Vanilla piece with the globe in Sahara Sand and then the sentiment over the top in Night of Navy. Adhere the rest of the pieces together and send to the favorite father of yours.
