Project Recipe
Card Stock:
Evening Evergreen--9 3/8" x 4 1/4" score at 3/8" flip then score at 1 3/8", 2 7/8" & 3 7/8"; 5 1/8" x 3 1/2" score at 3/8" flip then score at 1 3/8"
Crumb Cake--3 1/2" x 3 1/4", 1" x 4 1/2" (stamp & die cut branch), 2 1/2" x 3" (stamp & die cut bird)
Very Vanilla--1 1/2" x 2 1/2" (stamp & die cut Scalloped rectangle), 4" x 5 1/4" (back)
DSP Design #1--1 1/4" x 4"
DSP Design #2--3 3/4" x 4"
Burnish all the score marks well.
Adhere the two pieces of DSP as per photo.
Apply adhesive to the 3/8" strip and adhere. This piece will now lay flat for easy mailing.
Randomly stamp with Crumb Cake on the Crumb Cake.
With Early Espresso stamp on Very Vanilla the sentiment, die cut with Stitched So Sweetly die. Adhere to lower right corner.
Stamp on Crumb Cake, with Early Espresso the branch and the bird. Die cut these images.
With Stampin' Blends color the head of the bird with Light Real Red, highlight with Dark Real Red. Color the bird with Light Pecan Pie then highlight with Dark Pecan Pie. Color beak and feet with Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blend.
Flatten the box card to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", add glue to the 3/8" piece and adhere to form another box. Add adhesive to the left side, be sure to not get glue out to far.
With dimensionals position the bird on the branch and add to the front.
Add remaining embellishments.
Stamp sentiment on the large Very Vanilla piece with Early Espresso.
Adhere to the back.
