- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" of tiny purple snowflakes and white dots on light purple background design from Penguin Playmates 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
Pick out a Fresh Freesia bag from the Ombre Gift Bags.
As you are ready to stamp using the Penguin Place Set, place the cardstock or Ombre Gift Bag on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the group of snowflake sparkles image from the Penguin Place Set on Block B.Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the front of the Ombre Gift Bag.
Pick out the flat top tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies that cuts out a tag that is 2" wide. Put it on top of the Soft Sea Foam rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the flat top tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies that cuts out a tag that is 1-5/8" wide. Put it on top of the Penguin Playmates striped designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Mount the "lots of thanks" sentiment from the Penguin Place Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Just Jade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the bottom edge of the Soft Sea Foam tag cut out as close to the bottom as possible.
Adhere the striped designer paper tag to the top of the stamped Soft Sea Foam tag at a slight angle so the holes in the tops of the tags line up and the smaller tag sticks out to the right side a bit.
Mount the standing penguin image from the Penguin Place Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad or Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp the penguin so his head is on the bottom on the bottom edge of the vertical white strip.
Unlock the Penguin Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped penguin image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area of the full penguin body. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked. KEEP ALL THE PIECES!
Mount the tiny, triangular beak image from the Penguin Place Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the penguin punch out face so the triangular beak is pointing down.
Mount the tiny, bowtie image from the Penguin Place Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Just Jade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the penguin punch out between the head and body.
Mount the set of two feet image from the Penguin Place Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it on the opposite end of the previously stamped and punched vertical white strip.
Holding the unlocked Penguin Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide one of the stamped feet images into the punch and get it centered in the punching area of the foot. Punch. Repeat with the other foot. KEEP ALL THE PIECES!
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen.to adhere the feet punch outs to the bottom of the penguin body punch out.
Mount the hat image from the Penguin Place Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Just Jade Ink Pad. Stamp the hat on the remaining bit of white strip.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the hat by hand. Leave a thin rim of white around the edges and leave lots of white along the bottom edge.
Adhere the penguin body punch out to the white edge you left at the bottom of the cut out hat so the hat appears to be sitting on the penguin's head.
Mount the balloon image from the Penguin Place Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small rectangle of Fresh Freesia designer paper.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the balloon image by hand.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the penguin and balloon pieces on the layered tags so the penguin is just above the sentiment and hangs over the left edge of the tags a bit and the balloon hangs over the upper right edge of the tags a bit. Make a mental note of where the flipper on the right side of the penguin is. Remove the pieces.
Mount the balloon stick with bit of string image from the Penguin Place Set on Block G. The bottom of the stick will hang off the block, but that is okay! Ink up the top 1-1/2" of the stick with string using the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp the stick with string image on the layered tags so the bottom of the stick is near where the flipper on the right side of the penguin was.
Now, use a line of Stampin' Dimensionals down the center of the back of the penguin to adhere the penguin in place on the layered tags so the flipper on the right side covers the end of the balloon stick. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the balloon cut out to the layered tags so the bottom of the balloon covers the top of the balloon stick and string.
Fill the gift bag with treats. Fold the top of the gift bag over towards the back of the bag and crease in place.
Cut a length of the Just Jade & Gold 3/8" Braided Ribbon long enough to wrap around the top of the bag and tie in place.
Wrap the ribbon around the top of the filled bag and secure with a half knot near the left side of the bag. Slide the layered tags onto one loose end of the ribbon. Tie in place using a knot. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
