R
ecently I was asked to do a refresher course on using Pearl Ex pigments. Stampin' Up! used to sell these fun powders, and now they can be found in many craft stores.
The pigment colors we're using today are Turquoise, Spring Green, Aztec Gold and Misty Lavender.
Project Recipe
Take a VersaMark pad and press it directly over your cardstock panel multiple times until the entire panel has been covered.
Use a medium sized cheap paint brush like the ones that come in water colors. Dip the brush lightly in one of the pigments and then tap the powder over your cardstock. We'll be using one panel of Pacific Point and one of Basic Black. The results will be different based on the color you put the powder onto. Continue sprinkling each color over the panel (s) until you have done all four.
Use your paint brush to brush the powders over the panel until the panel is covered. Try not to touch this as your fingerprints will remain on it.
Stamp your preferred design on a piece of acetate with Black Staz On ink. Allow to dry then place over panel from above. Use brads to attach the two pieces.
