C hristmas card using The Peaceful Cabin bundle.
Project Recipe
Basic Black 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” score at 4 1/4”
Using bone folder crease the score.
DSP 4” x 5 1/4”
Stamp the snowflakes on the DSP using VersaMark Stamp Pad. Pour Silver Embossing Powder and tap off the excess.
Heat emboss using the heat gun.
On a scrap of Basic Black Cardstock stamp sentiment with VersaMark add emboss powder and heat. Using the oval of the Double Oval Punch, punch out the embossed sentiment and add dimensionals to the back.
Stamp the cabin on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Black Memento Ink Pad.
Diecut the cabin…and fussy cut the rest.
Place dimensionals on the back, and position on the left side of the card.
Stamp a fence using the black memento ink pad. And Diecut it out using the matching die. Glue to the right of the cabin (leaving enough room for the sentiment oval)
Attach the oval sentiment to the lower right corner.
Add a strip of ribbon to the upper portion of the card, and tie another piece of ribbon to that making a fake bow.
Glue this layer to the card front.
Inside Card:
Basic White 4” x 5 1/4”
Emboss sentiment in center and trees on the lower right corner.
Glue to the inside of the card.
(In my Facebook Live presentation I didn’t add another Basic White 4” x 5 1/4” to the left inside panel. But I was reminded by one of my viewers of this. It prevents the black cardstock rubbing off on the white layer.) so I will be adding that to my card.
