R eligious Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Basic White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night Of Navy Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of silver foil dots design from Silver & Gold 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/4" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of silver foil dots paper from the Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper to the center of the Night Of Navy rectangle and then to the front of the Basic White Thick card.
Mount the church and trees in snowfall image from the Peace To You Set on Block E. Lay the stamp on the block stamp side up on your work surface. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad by pressing the open ink pad onto the stamp. Stamp the image on the top of the vertical white rectangle so there is about 3/16" of white showing on the top, left, and right edges.
Mount the "silent night, holy night" sentiment from the Peace To You Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the thin white strip.
Pick out the long, skinny label die with openings on the ends from the Waves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on one end.
Thread the ribbon through the holes in the ends of the sentiment label cut out and get the sentiment label cut out centered on the ribbon.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the ribbon on the back of the sentiment label cut out.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive and adhere the sentiment label cut out thread onto the ribbon to the bottom of the church stamped white rectangle so it is centered side to side and centered on the white snowbank top to bottom.
Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the white rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large star from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Stars making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card in the upper right corner of the church scene as shown.
