Project Recipe
Cut an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of soft sky card stock length wise at 4 1/4 and score at 5 1/2 inches.
Cut a whisper white card stock at 4 inches by 5 1/8 inches.
Run that piece of whisper white through the Big Shot using the Softly Falling embossing folder.
Using the oval from the stitched shapes framelits, run the embossed whisper white through the Big shot to cut the oval out for the centre circle.
Adhere the whisper white to the soft sky card base then stamp the "Peace on Earth" (from the Carols of Christmas stamp set) in soft sky ink into the space that is cut out so you are stamping directly onto the soft sky card base.
Cut out 3 trees in whisper white and 3 trees in soft sky using the tree die cut from the Card Front Builder Thinlits using the Big Shot.
Apply a small amount of the embossing paste to the whisper white trees and sprinkle some dazzling diamonds stampin glitter and let it dry. It will create an textured look and give it dimension.
Adhere the whisper white trees to the soft sky trees, leaving a portion of the soft sky visible to create a shadowed look. You only need to run snail adhesive down the side of the whisper white tree to adhere. Remember to do 2 trees with the blue on the right and 1 tree with the blue on the left for placement around the centre circle.
Adhere the doubled trees to the card using snail adhesive arranged as you so desire.
