Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Rococo Rose Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of open white circles on ombre Rococo Rose background design from Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3" from Rococo Rose Cardstock
- 2" x 3" from Whisper White or Basic White Cardstock
- Clear Medium Envelope
Slide the piece of Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper into the envelope so the side of the paper you want to show is facing up when the envelope is sealed shut. Don't seal it yet though! Make sure the paper is up against the left and bottom edges of the envelope.
Put a large pinch of the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment sequins on top of the designer paper inside the envelope.
Fold the flap of the envelope over as far as possible. Use a Bone Folder to get a sharp crease along the fold.
Remove the protective backing from the envelope flap and seal the envelope shut.
Fold the extra strip of envelope along the top edge of the designer paper to the back side. Use a Bone Folder again to get a sharp crease along the fold.
Use a couple of pieces of cellophane (Scotch) tape to hold the folded edge of the envelope in place.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive along the edges of the folded envelope on the back side of the designer paper.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape Strips and adhere the designer paper envelope shaker element to the front of the Rococo Rose card.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Rococo Rose 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon so it has sharp angles on the ends.
Lay the ribbon across the front of the horizontal card in the center. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold the ribbon in place. Leave the protective backing in place for now.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pattern Play Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "Cue the Confetti" sentiment from the Pattern Play Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Rococo Rose Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle.
Pick out the smooth oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out a smooth oval that is 1-5/16" x 2-1/4". Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Mount the set of dots image from the Pattern Play Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Rococo Rose Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp onto the sentiment oval cut out. Repeat until you've added dots all over the sentiment oval cut out. Make sure you remember to stamp off each time after re-inking.
Pick out the scalloped oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out a scalloped oval that is 1-3/4" x 2-3/4". Put it on top of the Rococo Rose rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the tool.
Adhere the stamped sentiment oval cut out to the center of the scalloped Rococo Rose oval cut out.
Remove the protective backing from the piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive holding the ribbon on the card front and add some Stampin' Seal to the back of the matted sentiment ovals. Adhere the matted sentiment ovals to the center of the card front.
