Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 3-3/4" x 5" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" of light green grid pattern design from Tutti-frutti 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- scraps of pineapples on light blue background design from Tutti-frutti 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- scrap of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at least 2" long
Pick out one of the Daffodil Delight cards from the Tutti-frutti Cards & Envelopes. Fold in half.
Mount the panda in a party hat image from the Party Pandas Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Whisper White rectangle just to the right of center and about 2" up from the bottom.
Adhere the piece of light green grid pattern Tutti-frutti Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the stamped white rectangle.
Cut a 5" piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock and designer paper so it covers the seam between the two. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Tutti-frutti card.
Use the fine tips of the Markers to color in the panda's party hat.
Unlock the pineapple punch from the Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide a scrap of pineapples on a light blue background design paper from the Tutti-frutti Designer Series Paper into the punch. Center the punch over a pineapple image. Punch. Repeat until you have 4 punched out pineapples.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the punched out pineapples in an arch over the panda's head so it looks like he is juggling them.
Carefully remove a small Pear Pizzazz circle from a sheet of Subtles Enamel Shapes making sure you get the adhesive as well as the circle. Adhere it to the card front between two of the pineapples. Do the same thing with a small Daffodil Delight circle from a sheet of Brights Enamel Shapes and a small Garden Green circle from a sheet of Regals Enamel Shapes.
Mount the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Party Pandas Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the scrap of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock.
Pick out the short, rounded-ends banner framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so the sentiment is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the sentiment banner cut out to adhere it to the ribbon on the card front so it is centered under the panda.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front and tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Pick out one of the Daffodil Delight envelopes from the Tutti-frutti Cards & Envelopes.
Mount the panda with a balloon image from the Party Pandas Set on Block I. Ink up the balloon and string with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the front of the envelope at a slight angle. Make sure you have some Grid Paper on your work surface to protect it from ink.
Mount the "Hi" sentiment from the Party Pandas Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it onto Grid Paper to make sure it is straight and right side up. Re-ink the stamp with Garden Green Ink and stamp in the center of the balloon on the front of the envelope.
