T ime for Cake, the August 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit included supplies to make some fun birthday cards. This card uses the supplies to make a different kind of card.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Petal Pink 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Pecan Pie paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut one side of Petal Pink print card base (from August 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit) 3 ¾ X 5. Attach the cut card base to the Pecan Pie card mat and emboss both pieces with the Eyelet embossing folder. Attach embossed pieces to the Petal Pink card base.
Stamp sentiment with Pecan Pie ink on the Petal Pink tag included in the August 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit. Cut two 5” pieces of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine. Attach twine to the stamped tag. Attach the tag to the embossed card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Trim Baker’s Twine to the desired length.
Add 3 Pecan Pie ribboned embellishments to the card front.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of Petal Pink card base ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Emboss envelope flap with the Eyelet embossing folder.
