Project Recipe
For this card you will need an A2 card base. For this project I used one of cards from the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit but any A2 card base that is 5.5 x 8.5 will work.
Begin by placing the base card on the paper trimmer in landscape orientation and if it isn't already scored at 4.25 do so now.
Then move the card to the right and score again 1" from the center.
Now keeping the card in landscape mode cut 1" off the "back" side or plain white side of the card.
Next, use the score tool to score 1" from the edge all the way around the card. This will create tabs that will need to be cut and trimmed out.
Then it is just a matter of gluing the tabs in place to create the box.
For the belly band I cut one out of Whisper White from the Detailed Bands dies and then cut two 3/8" x 2.5 pieces of Whisper White and attached them to each end of the tabs on the die cut so they would be long enough to go around the box. I wrapped those around the box and glued the overlapping ends together.
I stamped a sentiment on the center piece from the die cut and attached it to the box top with adhesive centering it so the belly band would line up with it when attached.
