S crapbook pages using Paper Blooms DSP, Love You Always Foil Sheets, with Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Old Olive, and Basic White yardsticks. Isn't she cute?
Project Recipe
Use two 12x12 sheets of Night of Navy for the background.
Cut matting for your photos. My photos are 4"x6" (except the photo card on the bottom of the left page of the 2-page layout).
I cut the following out of Basic White cardstock:
3 - 4.25" x 6.25" mats for my three photos excluding the photo card.
Cut what you need so you have a mat with a .25" border around each of your photos. (My photo card at the bottom isn't matted.)
Cut a strip of Paper Blooms DSP:
12" x 2.25"
Using Petal Pink cardstock, cut a piece 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" square.
If you use more than one photo on the right page of the layout, you can adjust the size of the Petal Pink. You could also use Petal Pink as a mat behind the Basic White mat (it would need to have a border of .5" all the way around your photos).
Fussy cut one of the flowers or a few flowers out of a scrap of Paper Blooms DSP.
Using the Forever Fern die cut set, select leaves or other larger shapes to use as embellishments for your scrapbook pages. Use Paper Blooms, Love You Always foil sheets, and Old Olive cardstock (or anything else that coordinates) to cut out enough shapes to decorate your pages.
For the left page of the 2-page layout:
Adhere the strip of Paper Blooms on the right side of the Night of Navy cardstock base, leaving about .75" between the right side of the cardstock edge and the edge of the paper.
Adhere your photos to the Basic White mats.
Arrange according to my photo example or whatever is pleasing to your eye.
Add die cut embellishments or any other embellishments you choose.
For right page of 2-page layout:
Adhere the Petal Pink cardstock to the center of the Night of Navy cardstock base.
Adhere your photo to the Basic White mat.
Center photo with Basic White mat on the Petal Pink piece. Adhere to Petal Pink piece.
Using die cuts and fussy cut flowers, embellish the photos and page as you see fit.
