Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Freesia Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- 1-3/8" x 5-1/8" of small, multicolored flowers on vanilla background design from Pansy Petals 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2 strips each 1-1/8" x 5-1/8" of pale purple gingham check design from Pansy Petals 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the strips of Pansy Patch Designer Paper on the Pale Papaya rectangle to figure out spacing. The flowered piece should be in the center. Once happy with spacing, adhere the pieces in place one at a time.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Fresh Freesia 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the layered designer paper/cardstock pieces about 1-1/2" from the bottom. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Pale Papaya rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Fresh Freesia card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pansy Patch Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the wider sentiment of choice from the Pansy Patch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the long, horizontal white strip in the center. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Everyday Label Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area top to bottom with the sentiment more to the right side. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon and there is about 5/8" between the right side of the label and the right edge of the card.
Mount the large, more solid pansy flower outside edge image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Mount the large, more detailed pansy flower outside edge image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Fresh Freesia Ink Pad. Stamp the image over the top of the image already stamped in the center of the white square.
Mount the larger, more solid pansy flower interior image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp the image in the center of the previously stamped pansy image on the white square.
Mount the medium-sized, solid pansy flower interior image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp the image in the center of the previously stamped pansy image on the white square.
Pick out the matching, open pansy flower die from the Pansy Dies. Put it on top of the stamped and blended pansy on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the pansy is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the pansy flower cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the left side of the sentiment punch out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large Pale Papaya gem from the sheet of Genial Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the pansy cut out over the white dot in the center.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Fresh Freesia 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card over the right side of the sentiment label punch out.
Pick out a large Pale Papaya flower from the Loose Flower Flourishes. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the flower to the upper right corner of the card front.
