Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and shimmer vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pale Papaya Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-7/8" x 3-5/8" from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" of Soft Succulent dotted lines pattern from 2021-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Assortment, cut so the lines are horizontal on the horizontal rectangle
- 2" square from Pale Papaya Cardstock
- 2" square of Pale Papaya Vellum from 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 1" square of Pale Papaya Vellum from 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum
Insert the large white rectangle into the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the front of the Pale Papaya card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pansy Patch Set, place the cardstock or shimmer vellum on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Thank You" sentiment from the Pansy Patch Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the small, vertical white rectangle.
Adhere the piece of Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Paper to the bottom of the stamped white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle with designer paper attached to the center of the 2-7/8" x 3-5/8" Pale Papaya rectangle.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted cardstock/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the cardstock and designer paper. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back of the rectangle using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Pale Papaya rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the card so it is about 3/4" from the top, left, and right sides.
Mount the large, more solid pansy flower outside edge image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the larger Pale Papaya Shimmer Vellum square.
Mount the larger, more solid pansy flower interior image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pale Papaya Ink Pad. Stamp the image in the center of the previously stamped pansy image on the shimmer vellum square.
Mount the medium-sized, solid pansy flower interior image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp the image in the center of the previously stamped pansy image on the shimmer vellum square.
Set the stamped pansy image aside for a bit to let the ink have time to dry on the shimmer vellum.
Mount the smaller, more detailed pansy bud image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Polished Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the smaller Pale Papaya Shimmer Vellum square.
Set the stamped pansy bud mage aside for a bit to let the ink have time to dry on the shimmer vellum.
Pick out the solid, skinny, bent over stem with bracket die from the Pansy Dies. Put it on top of the Evening Evergreen rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Pick out the solid, large, straight up and down leaf die from the Pansy Dies. Put it on top of the Soft Succulent square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces if needed.
Mount the more solid, straight up and down leaf image from the Pansy Patch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Succulent Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the leaf cut out.
Pick out the large, open pansy flower die from the Pansy Dies. Put it on top of the Pale Papaya Cardstock square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Leave the die out.
If the shimmer vellum large pansy image is dry, put the large, open pansy flower die on top of the stamped pansy on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the pansy is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
If the shimmer vellum bud image is dry, pick out the open, small pansy bud die from the Pansy Dies. Put it on top of the stamped pansy bud on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the pansy bud is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Put a thin line of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of the bracket at the end of the stem cut out. Adhere it to the top of the shimmer vellum bud cut out.
Adhere the pansy bud on stem to the front of the card so the arch in the stem is just below the left edge of the stamped sentiment. Cut off excess stem near the bottom if needed.
Use a tiny dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of the shimmer vellum pansy flower in the center to adhere it to the solid Pale Papaya pansy cut out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the layered pansy cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the ribbon on the right side.
Adhere the stamped leaf cut out to the front of the card as shown so it tucks under the lower left side of the layered pansy cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large Pale Papaya gem from the sheet of Genial Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the layered pansy cut out over the open space in the center.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up two small Pale Papaya gems from the sheet of Genial Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front in a line just below the left edge of the main image panel.
