Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Evening Evergreen Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" of small, tightly packed, multicolored pansies on dark background design from Pansy Petals 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper, cut so the pansies are vertical on the horizontal rectangle
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the Soft Succulent rectancle into the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Soft Succulent rectangle to the front of the Evening Evergreen card.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that cuts out a scalloped rectangle that is 3" x 4-1/8". Put it on top of the designer paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the pansies designer paper scalloped rectangle cut out to the front of the card in the center.
Cut a 5" piece of Evening Evergreen 3/8" Chevron Weave Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive horizontally across the center of the horizontal card front.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape and adhere the ribbon piece to it so it lays horizontally across the horizontal card front.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pansy Patch Set, place the cardstock or specialty paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Thank You" or "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Pansy Patch Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal white strip in the center. Leave room to punch it out.
Unlock the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment punch out to the center of the card front so it is centered over the ribbon.
Pick out a large flower from the Loose Flower Flourishes. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the flower to the sentiment label punch out as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one small rhinestone from the sheet of Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the Loose Flower Flourish. Press carefully into the center of the flower embellishment to make sure it sticks.
