S imple, pretty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Copper Clay Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" of brown brushstrokes design from Fresh As A Daisy 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Pick out the largest die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies. Put it on top of the 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies that cuts out a rectangle that is 2-1/4" x 3-1/2". Put it on top of the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the designer paper rectangle cut out on top of the white rectangle cut out so it is centered side to side and is about 1/2" from the top.
Use the fine tip of the Lemon Lolly Stampin' Write Marker to doodle a frame of squiggles and dots around the designer paper rectangle as shown.
As you are ready to stamp using the Pansy Patch Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "a little hello from me to you" sentiment from the Pansy Patch Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Copper Clay Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom of the white rectangle cut out so it is centered side to side and between the doodled line you drew and the bottom of the rectangle.
Adhere the designer paper rectangle cut out in place inside the doodled frame.
Adhere the stamped and doodled white rectangle cut out with designer paper attached to the front of the Copper Clay card.
Pick out the large, connected 3 daisies and leaves die from the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Put it on top of the remaining white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you'll cut out the flowers. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off any leaf bits from the cut out white daisies.
Use the Lemon Lolly Stampin' Write Marker to color in the centers of the flowers.
Use Stampin' Seal and/or Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the daisies cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the designer paper rectangle cut out.
