- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Terracotta Tile Cardstock
Place the white rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Mount the large, single flower image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block C and the small, single flower image from the set on Block B. Ink them up with the appropriate ink pad and stamp them randomly all over the white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamps each time. Leave space between the images and let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock and rotate the orientation of the stamps.
For the yellow and red cards, use the StazOn Ink Pad.
For the pink and orange cards, use the Early Espresso Ink Pad.
If you are doing different colored cards, remember to clean the stamps between use using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub.
Mount the large blob image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block C. Ink it up with the appropriate ink pad and stamp it over the top of the previously stamped poppy flower images. For some of the colors, you may need to stamp off onto Grid Paper before stamping on the cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamps each time (and stamp off if needed). Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock and rotate the orientation of the stamps. Stamp again over a flower image if needed to fill in as much of the petals as possible (just remember to stamp off if needed).
For the yellow card, use the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad.
For the red card, use the Real Red Ink Pad and stamp off before stamping on the cardstock.
For the pink card, use the Rococo Rose Ink Pad and stamp off before stamping on the cardstock.
For the orange card, use the Terracotta Tile Ink Pad and stamp off before stamping on the cardstock.
If you are doing different colored cards, remember to clean the stamp between use using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub.
Mount the small splatter image from the Painted Poppies Set on Block A. Ink it up with the appropriate color ink pad and stamp it all over the white cardstock in the white spaces between the flower images. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock and rotate the orientation of the stamp. It's okay if the image overlaps itself and the flower images.
For the yellow card, use the Crushed Curry Ink Pad.
For the red card, use the Real Red Ink Pad.
For the pink card, use the Rococo Rose Ink Pad.
For the orange card, use the Terracotta Tile Ink Pad.
If you are doing different colored cards, remember to clean the stamp between use using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub.
Adhere the stamped white layer to the appropriate color of 4" x 5-1/4" cardstock.
Cut a 6" piece of the appropriate color of ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the top of the matted, stamped white rectangle so it is about 3/4" from the top. Secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the appropriate color card.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Peaceful Moments Set on an appropriate sized block. Ink it up with the appropriate ink pad. Stamp it in the center of the appropriate color small rectangle.
For the yellow and red cards, use the StazOn Ink Pad.
For the pink and orange cards, use the Early Espresso Ink Pad.
If you are doing different colored cards, remember to clean the stamp between use using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub.
Pick out the smaller label die with rounded ends from the Painted Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Use the small hole punch to punch a small hole in the center of the left side of the sentiment cut out.
Cut a 6" piece of either the thread or twine.
For the yellow and red cards, use the Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine.
For the pink and orange cards, use the Linen Thread.
Slide the thread or twine through the hole punched in the sentiment cut out and get it even. Holding the two loose ends together, loop the ribbon together into a half knot near the sentiment cut out. Trim the ends.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment tag to the front of the card at a slight angle so the upper left corner of the tag overlaps the ribbon on the card front a bit and the twine or thread goes across the ribbon.
For the yellow, red, and pink cards, cut an 11" piece of the appropriate color of ribbon. Tie the ribbon in a small bow and trim the ends. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the front of the card so it holds the twine or thread in place and is centered over the ribbon just above the tag at a slight angle.
For the orange card, cut a 4" piece of the Terracotta Tile 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon. Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon and trim the ends. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it holds the thread in place and is centered over the ribbon just above the tag at a slight angle.
