T riangular Treat Box
Project Recipe
Score 6" x 6" DSP at 2" on all 4 sides.
Cut off each corner diagonally from one score line to the other.
Place DSP on Piercing Mat and use a ruler and the scoring head of the Take Your Pick tool to create a score line from the center of one side (3" mark at an angle to the first score line intersection (in red on template), creating a triangle.
Repeat on opposite side.
Fold along each score line.
For the side triangles fold each side back as shown.
Once both of the angled score lines are folded on each side it should look like this.
Here is the view from the top of the box.
Pinch the top of the box closed.
Wrap 2" x 7" Coastal Cabana cardstock around box and pinch at corners to dry fit the band.
Fold along each pinched spot, making sure fold is straight.
Run the bone folder over each fold to give it a nice crease.
Add SNAIL adhesive to band ends and wrap around box again to adhere band ends together. Do not adhere band to the actual box.
This pic shows the band after it is put together and removed from the box.
Using the Banner Triple punch, cut each end of 1-7/8" x 4" DSP.
Tip: I positioned my paper just far enough in the punch to create the cut, but not all the way in. This was just to save paper and get more pieces out of one sheet.
This is what the strip will look like once punched.
Fold DSP strip in half.
Adhere DSP strip to top of band with SNAIL adhesive.
