M asculine birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pebbled Path Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Boho Blue Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Copper Clay Cardstock
- 1/2" x 3-1/4" from Copper Clay Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Pebbled Path Cardstock
Mount the Watercolor World stamp on Block F. Ink it up with the Pebbled Path Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal Boho Blue rectangle so the images are close to the top of the rectangle.
Insert the stamped Boho Blue rectangle into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Remove the cardstock from the embossing folder. Rotate it 180 degrees. Put it back inside the embossing folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine again.
Adhere the dry embossed, stamped Boho Blue rectangle to the front of the Pebbled Path card.
Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Copper Clay strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the smaller scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the "hoping this year is full of adventure & excitement" sentiment from the On The Ocean Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Pebbled Path Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched Copper Clay strip so the punched edge is on the right side and the sentiment is closer to the punched edge.
Adhere the sentiment punch out to the front of the card so the right, punched edge is about 3/4" from the right edge of the card and the bottom is about 3/4" from the bottom of the card.
Mount the sailing ship image from the On The Ocean Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Copper Clay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Copper Clay rectangle.
Pick out the matching, open ship die from the On The Ocean Dies. Put it on top of the stamped ship on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Adhere the ship cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the left side of the sentiment punch strip and the bottom and left edges of the ship almost touch the bottom and left edges of the Boho Blue layer.
Mount the ship's wheel image from the On The Ocean Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pebbled Path Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Pebbled Path square.
Pick out the matching, open ship's wheel die from the On The Ocean Dies. Put it on top of the stamped ship's wheel on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the ship's wheel cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the left end of the sentiment strip and the lower right side of the ship cut out as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one small dot from the sheet of Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the ship's wheel image on the card front.
