T his is a quick and easy sympathy card made in my July Stamp Class and inspired by Esther Howard and features the Number of Years stamp set
Project Recipe
Sweet Sugarplum card base, Whisper White top layer 5-1/4 x 4"
On the Whisper White piece stamp the leaves using the stamp from Number of Years. I stamped in Pear Pizzazz, stamping full strength and then stamping a second time right next to it without re-inking. Next I stamped the same way using Lemon-Lime Twist. Using a sponge dauber, I sponged some lemon-lime twist around the edges and to fill in the branches of leaves.
Next I took the stamp with the dots and stamped with Sweet Sugarplum to create the blossoms on the leaves, stamping both full strength and also without re-inking.
I stamped the sentiment from Flourishing Phrases in Sweet Sugarplum, leaving space below the sentiment for the ribbon.
Taking about 5-1/2" of Sweet Sugarplum Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and wrap around the front of the card. I then made a separate bow and attached to the card using glue dots.
Add a piece of Whisper White to the inside so you can stamp a sentiment. I also stamped a leaf and blossom on the bottom of the inside.
