Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crumb Cake Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3/4" x 3-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3/4" square from Crumb Cake Cardstock
Mount the Birch background stamp on Block F. Place the background stamp rubber side up on Grid Paper on your work surface. Ink up the stamp by pouncing or rubbing the Crumb Cake Ink Pad all over it. Leave the inked up stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the 4" x 5-1/4" Very Vanilla rectangle on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub firmly all over. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Tip: I just clean my background stamps by running them under water until the water runs clear. Then, I let them air dry.
Adhere the stamped Very Vanilla rectangle to the front of the Crumb Cake card.
Mount the "thinking of you this season" sentiment from the Winter Woods Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" Very Vanilla rectangle.
Pick out the stitched oval die from the Stitched Shapes Dies that cuts out an oval that is 1-7/8" wide. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Cut 3 pieces of 3/16" Braided Linen Trim each about 3-3/4 to 4" long.
Lay the pieces of trim on the back of the sentiment oval cut out so they are at angles across each other and the ends stick out on the right and left sides of the oval. Secure in place with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Leave the protective backing in place.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment oval cut out with trim attached to the front of the card near the top and centered side to side.
Mount the fox image from the Nature's Beauty Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/4" x 2" vanilla rectangle.
Cut out the fox image by hand using Paper Snips.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the fox cut out to the front of the card in the bottom right corner.
Mount the pine bough image from the Winter Woods Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it three times on the remaining strip of vanilla cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Leave space between each image so they can be cut out.
Pick out the 3 matching pine bough dies from the In The Woods Dies. Put them on top of the stamped pine boughs on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the images are centered. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the tool.
Lay the pine boughs on top of each other so they overlap slightly and the stem ends are close together with the other ends fanned out a bit. Use a Stampin' Dimensional to hold the pine boughs together and to adhere them to the front of the card on the bottom left side of the sentiment oval cut out so the boughs are hanging down.
Mount the pine cone image from the Winter Woods Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock.
Pick out one of the matching pine cone dies from the In The Woods Dies. Put it on top of the stamped pine cone on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the image is centered. Run through the tool.
Adhere the pine cone cut out to the front of the card so it covers the stem ends of the pine boughs.
