Embellishments
Die cut the largest stitched circle using the Basic White (circle ) cardstock.
Place the Masking Paper approximately ¾” above the bottom of the circle. (See photo)
TIP:
Masking Paper can be very sticky. To help control the adhesive, place the paper on your jeans or sleeve before applying to your cardstock to break down the tackiness.
Using a Blending Brush, add Crumb Cake ink to this area.
Stamp this area in Crumb Cake or Early Espresso ink using a "sand" image or
using the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker, splatter the masked area to look like sand. To
splatter, carefully flick the brush end of the marker while pulling it out of the cap over the
cardstock.
Carefully move the Masking Paper so the straight edge is aligned to the top of the Crumb Cake
inked area. (See photo.)
Using a Blending Brush, add Daffodil Delight ink to a small area.
Keeping the mask in place, continue adding color, working your way up on the circle by blending
the colors. Use a Blending Brush in the following order.
TIP: The more ink you apply, the darker
and more dramatic the effect. (See photo.)
a. Pumpkin Pie
b. Polished Pink
c. Highland Heather
Carefully remove the Masking Paper.
Stamp the greeting using Memento ink in the lower right corner of the Basic White (layer)
cardstock.
Adhere the circle to the upper center of the Basic White (layer).
Wrap the Linen Thread above the greeting on the Basic White (layer) cardstock several times.
Finish by making a knot then a bow on the far-left side as shown.
