Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and foil sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of white We Three Kings sheet music design from Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/8" x 3-3/8" of Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/8" of black Oh Come All Ye Faithful sheet music design from Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock for lute image
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock for lyre image
- 2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock for drummer boy image
- 3" x 4" from Silver Foil Sheets for French horn cut out
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" from Silver Foil Sheets or Whisper White Cardstock for treble clef cut out
Adhere large rectangle of Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper to large rectangle of Basic Black Cardstock and then to front of Whisper White Thick card.
Mount "Peace Joy Love" sentiment on Block H. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad. Stamp it along the bottom of the 2-3/8" x 3-3/8" piece of white cardstock.
Adhere the smaller rectangle of Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper to the top of the stamped white rectangle so the top of the designer paper hangs over the top of the white layer by about 1/2".
Cut a 4" piece of Silver 1/8" Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the stamped white and designer paper layers so it covers the seam between the layers along the bottom. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the layer. Adhere the layer to the front of the card so the bottom is about 1-1/4" up from the bottom of the designer paper layer.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Silver 1/8" Ribbon. Slide one end under the center of the ribbon on the card front. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
For the drummer boy card, mount the drummer boy image on Block D. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad and stamp in the center of the 2" x 3" white rectangle. Cut out the image with the matching drummer boy framelit from the Musical Instruments Framelits and Big Shot. Adhere just to the left of center on the black designer paper piece. Let the head stick out over the top. Cut out a treble clef using the Musical Instruments Framelit, Big Shot with Precision Plate, and 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" Silver Foil Sheet piece. Remove cut out with Die Brush. Adhere at slight angle just to the right of the drummer boy using Mini Glue Dots.
For the lute and lyre card, mount the lute image on Block H. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad and stamp in the center of the 1-3/4" x 3-3/4" white rectangle. Cut out the image with the matching lute framelit from the Musical Instruments Framelits and Big Shot. Adhere just to the left of center on the black designer paper piece at a slight angle. Let the top of the lute stick out over the top of the black designer paper layer. Mount the lyre image on Block B. Ink it up with the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad and stamp in the center of the 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" white rectangle. Cut out the image with the matching lyre framelit from the Musical Instruments Framelits and Big Shot. Adhere just to the right of the lute image using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals at a slight angle so it overlaps the bottom of the lute. Cut out a treble clef using the Musical Instruments Framelit, Big Shot with Precision Plate, and 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" Silver Foil Sheet piece. Remove cut out with the Die Brush. Adhere the treble clef cut out to the card using Mini Glue Dots so it is tucked between the lute and lyre at a slight angle and the top sticks out over the top of the black designer paper a bit.
For the French horn card, cut out a French horn using the Musical Instruments Framelit, Big Shot with Precision Plate, and 3" x 4" Silver Foil Sheet piece. Remove the cut out with the Die Brush. Adhere the horn to the card front in the middle of the black designer paper piece using small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive or Mini Glue Dots. Let the top of the horn go over the top of the black designer paper layer. Cut out a treble clef using the Musical Instruments Framelit, Big Shot with Precision Plate, and 1-1/4" x 2-1/2" white rectangle. Remove the cut out with the Die Brush. Adhere the treble clef cut out to the card using Mini Glue Dots so it overlaps the horn at a slight angle on the right side.
